What this site collects, and why

Privacy

Stay or Go is a self-reflection tool. It does not require an account, email, or payment. Here is what runs under the hood.

Safety note. If you are taking this on a device your partner can access, the in-progress quiz is saved to your browser's local storage. Use your browser's incognito / private mode if that is a concern. You can also clear the saved session with "Start over" on the results page, or by clearing site data in your browser.

What is collected

Anonymous analytics (Vercel). Aggregate page views. No cookies, no IP storage, no fingerprinting. Runs for everyone.
Google Analytics (optional). Loaded only if you accept the cookie banner. Tracks page views, anonymised IP, and browser metadata. You can decline at any time.
Error reports (Sentry). If something crashes, a stack trace is sent for debugging. No personal data, no answers.

What stays on your device

Your in-progress answers, saved to your browser's local storage so a reload does not lose your place.
Your consent choice (accept / decline), so the banner stops bothering you.

Nothing in local storage is sent to any server. To clear it, use the "Start over" button on the results page, or your browser's "Clear site data" setting.

Shared results

When you use the Share button, the URL encodes your answers directly — no server stores them. Anyone with the link sees the same read; no one else can. Be careful what you share, and with whom.

What is not collected

No accounts or emails
No payment information
No cross-site tracking
No selling or sharing beyond the services named above
